About Me March 15, 2010

My name is Jessica S.  I am a lifelong conservation and environmental enthusiast. When I had a choice in the matter, you could find me outside.  Bird watching, wildlife photography, kayaking, biking, hiking, camping – you name it.

In my professinal life I work in the natural resource profession.  So yes, my conservation ethic covers both my personal and professional lives.  I spend my days educating staff, the general public, children, and anyone else who will listen about invasive and native plants, sustainability and other “green” things.

  1. Hi Jessica,
I’m just following up with people Roger’s labeled as Alarmists on his space as, following my conversations with him, I’ve come to the conclusion that the man is nothing more than an illogical bully who did nothing to offer any sense to my questions of him and refused to read up on any literature I offered as a basics for my work and reasoning to call out for a change in practices.
It’s on his space under Ignorance is.. or on mine under Discussion with Denial.
I understand that the vast majority of people have better things to do with their time than to worry about such a person, but I personally have had a life time of dealing with bullies and won’t let this man continue to treat people as he tried (and failed) to do to me.
    Cheers,
    Tim
